  • We specialise in one-off and bespoke furniture designs, custom-made cushions, sofa and chair repairs, furniture restoration and upholstery. Our services include chair upholstery, sofa upholstery, boat cushions, bench seating, commercial upholstery, custom-made headboards, chaise longue restoration and small furniture repairs. Based in the Scottish Highlands, we provide furniture and upholstery services throughout the Highlands and Moray.

  • The easiest way to get in touch is to email us at info@redhutfurniture.com, including a few pictures of your furniture or some inspiration pictures.

    Details such as the approximate age of the furniture, your location and your fabric preferences can also be helpful.

  • After your initial enquiry, you’ll receive a price estimate.

    If you’re happy with the estimate, we’ll arrange a fabric consultation together.

    Following the consultation, you’ll receive an updated estimate including the cost of the fabric, and you’ll be asked to pay a 50% deposit.

    Once the fabric arrives, we’ll arrange a suitable day and time to collect your furniture.

    If you’ve requested a unique design, you’ll be sent a few options to choose from.

    Once your piece is ready for delivery, we’ll let you know and arrange a suitable day and time. You’ll then receive your final invoice.






  • No, you don’t.

    We’ll have a fabric meeting together and discuss your needs, whether you prefer natural material, stain-resistant, what colours, textures etc. you can choose from many swatch books.

    Whether you have an exact idea or you don’t know where to start. We can find the right match for your together.

  • Sometimes, the wooden frame needs a little care, too.

    I work with trusted suppliers who can take care of this part, whether it’s a structural issue or simply cosmetic.

  • As sad as it is to have to include this in the FAQ, it’s more common than I’d like.

    Yes and no. Sometimes it can be fixed, while other times it’s a more complex issue.

    A lot can be changed, cushions can be replaced, additional support can be added, legs can be changed, and more.

    These are usually on-site projects, to save you the hassle of moving your furniture in what can already be a very frustrating situation.
